Life in Still: Andap in the third week of August

Once,I wrote a gratitude Friday list about being part of a film production during the third week of August. It took place in Barangay Andap, some scenes were shot in Compostela. However, I was not able to follow up with the visuals of the shoot because we were told not to post before it was screening week, but I think the last edition of Life in Still has snippets of the film production.

Anyway, it was a great week for New Bataan because it has been part of a film, again.  The first film was Riddles of My Home Coming and the other one is As One (Iisa)Both films were shot in ground zero. As One is currently part of this year's QCinema International Film Festival Circle Competition. Iisa is:

A thriller about a never-ending war, a town ravaged by a devastating storm and the woman caught in between.

I wish the next leader of the Philippines will give priorities in the rehabilitation of the typhoon stricken places such Andap and places in Visayas like Tacloban and Samar.
