Push/Forward: A Davao Graphic Designer Community Magazine

Amazed, thrilled, and I don't know any emotions to describe how proud I am for the DGDC (Davao Graphic Designers Community) Magazine First Issue. It's like seeing many possibilities sprout in the coming days.

The online magazine consists of 58 pages featuring a gallery of artworks. I like the works of Ed Louie, Xiao Prieto, Chuyie Yap and the God Bless America fan art of Carlos Paulo Pascual III. Also it features the recent Davao Art Attack II and points their spotlight on artists like Eric Ibasco, Alben John Tan, Megan Palero, Tsad de Lira and Alduane Mano. DGDC members shared their design and art crushes, I agree with Ira Teves and Carlo Paulo Pascual III. Mine's Soleil Ignacio, swirls and fierce eyes are deadly combination. Another is Alexander McQueen.

 Indeed, Push/Forward is a call to action. Creating such medium for Davao Graphic Artist is the first step, and it is up to editorial team and the other artist to push and keep the pace forward.
